Wood & Epoxy Inlay

This process is achieved by taking an image and carving it into the wood.  The gaps are then filled with a colored epoxy (either a matte or metallic color).  It is then sanded and buffed to a glossy finish.  Taking in consideration the contrast between the colors of the epoxy and the color of the wood is important.  Using darker colors of epoxy (reds, blues and blacks) with a lighter wood color (such as Maple or Cherry) would look great.  Using a lighter color of epoxy (such as white) on a lighter colored wood....well...not so great.  For reference please see the gallery below.

Pricing will depend on the complexity of the design, the size of the project and the type of wood to be engraved.  We can discuss this once you have contacted me.
